VGP Golden Beach resort - an era gone by. New gimmicks to keep it going

We went to VGP Golden Beach Resort on 30th December 2019. the resort has rooms and cottages if you want to stay there.
there are three parts to this place. 1. VGP Universal Kingdom. 2. Snow Kingdom. 3. Marine Kingdom. tickets can be bought individually to each of them or a combo which includes universal and marine kingdom. the snow kingdom has a separate ticket.
we were a group of four people.
get there early at around 9am so that you can cover all the places with free time for lunch and the pool at aqua kingdom.

first we went to the snow kingdom. inside that they also have the click art museum and live art museum.

the ticket to all the three attractions here is rs. 850.

thats the inside of the snow kingdom. you have to wear the gear given to you. snow everywhere. you can play with the snow and throw it at your friends and family. the time allowed is 45 minutes. you can play with all the snow you want. there is a slide with an inflated tube.

towards the end of the 45 minutes, they play music and you can dance to it in the snow under the lights.

we were at the snow kingdom from 10:15-11:00am.
next we go to the marine kingdom because the mermaid show starts at 11:30am.
there was a big crowd already present. the mermaid show was a special event for the new year.
we went straight to the show.

people are seated in front of three screens. this is one of them. we could see the different aquatic life swimming in front of us. then the mermaid show started.

after the show, we walk into this tube which is filled with marine life.

after that we come to a place where we can touch the star fish.

 next to this is an open tank with other marine life like manta rays and starfish.

after this we go through many exhibits of marine life in huge tanks.

some of the tanks had an enclosure in which we could stand as if to mimic that we are with the marine life inside the water.

finally we get to take pics along with the mermaid.

next we move to the click art museum back at the snow kingdom. this is the place to click some wonderful 3d images.

next we move to the live art museum

after this we enter the final place to spend the evening, universal kingdom

inside is the panneer fort entrance. i still wonder why it is called so

after this there are different rides which you can get on. i didnt take any pics because the colours of the equipment were all worn of and not worthy of a pic.

after a disastrous lunch of veg biryani and gobi manchurian we enter the aqua kingdom.

you can spend as much time as you want here till the resort closes. that at about 8pm.

dont forget to wait for the gentle waves that come in once an hour if i am right.

after some time at the aqua kingdom, take a walk to the beach. that will be the end to your day at the VGP Universal kingdom, snow kingdom and the marine kngdom.

just before exit we pass through this nice structure

points to be noted:---

1. buy the tickets individually. choose which one you want to go to and which one you want to avoid.

2. food available inside the universal kingdom is pathetic and no proper wash basins.

3. you cant carry any food inside.

4. you dont need to carry extra clothes to change because the aqua kingdom offers you costumes to wear free of charge, but a returnable deposit is taken.

5. make sure you arrive as early as possible, preferably around 9.

6. it is expensive to go to these places, so carry your credit cards and cash also. tickets can be bought with credit cards, food has to be bought with cash.
